5/8 Minnie PMPS 275 +2 192 +3.5 138 +4.5 111 +6.75 99 +9 192after AM dose increase

Honestly, if I wasn't taking measurements I would be blissfully ignorant although she is peeing up a storm. The diastix arrived this afternoon so waiting for a pee (the multi-test pet strips have been permanently negative for glucose and I just don't believe them). She is well - all Ps good, and even managed a 90% solid poop despite the food change (gave her some tiny tiger yesterday which was new). I think her ears are hurting so trying to take it a bit easy on testing, though I was quite cautiously pleased with the +6.
 
Really thought I'd done a fur shot, felt wet and was convinced I could smell it....but the numbers don't seem to agree!

Hi Bhooma! It's been a while since I've had to ask for help :)

This dose seems to be working on the 2nd cycle. She has dropped a fair bit by +2 (gave her some LC) and still dropping at +3. What do you suggest I feed her - is it time for the 10%? I have some tiny tiger chicken and some DM selects in gravy.

I just realized the last reading was a +3.5? A test an hour after that should be fine. No need to test every half hour yet.

Confused - your thread title says +3.5 and the post says +3....

I just updated it! I read the clock wrong, originally it did say +3 (in case you thought you were going crazy). She definitely hated me with the last pokey, she hissed at me!!

Yes, she is DONE with the pokeys in general I think but the hiss was exceptional. She got revenge with her terrifically stinky poop...and not washing herself afterwards (yet) and now is sitting on the back of the sofa behind my head. About to do the next pokey too, didn't think I'd need to wear masks at home!!
 
111 @+4.5. I am REALLY struggling with her ears, poor thing. It took 3 strips before I got enough blood for a reading. Still with the LC? I think she is going to keep on dropping....so I will have to keep testing every hour through the night? (ha, can you hear my hopeful voice?)

She is flattening out. You needn't test every hour. Feed her more LC and test after a couple of hours or so.

If you leave food out, will she graze on it?

She doesn't graze...she will eat it ALL until it's gone. I have the auto feeder but brother Sam may eat it. Looks like a night on the couch (I don't wake up if I go to bed!)
 
99 now at 6.75. More LC and test in 2h? or something else?

ETA ugh, I can't wait for you to answer! Feeling sick with tiredness. She's eating a bit I will set an alarm for a couple of hours. Thank you!!

Thank you for the reminder! Back to basics :) I haven't needed to warm in so long but just did it and got blood first try...there was enough to get a ketone test but she flicked her ear too quickly :( It can wait though.

Yes, tired and nauseous...either lack of sleep or I have eaten something off. I may have taken one of her ondansetron....
