Mauer is doing well, it's very good you resisted on this dose for longer :):) hopefully you got some more time to sleep with calmer night cycles :bighug:

I've been doing the tiniest skinnys until yesterday amps :oops:

Now she's rising. Seriously it doesn't make sense. If I feed higher carbs, she goes down and surfs, lower carbs and she's rising :confused:
Or maybe it does make sense.
T2 diabetics does have their own insulin, in some cases plenty of it, the body just can't open the door and use it. What if the HC and higher carbs actually opens the door?
 
@Wendy&Neko do you have any insight to what's going on here today?
It's very unlike her to go this high.
Wouldn't finish her AMPS meal, added lamb to her chicken so it was kinda fair if she didn't like it. Slept all day, not unusual at all. Now +11.25 she threw up a hairball - she very very rarely does that. Appetite is fine, she had a freeze dried snack afterwards.

At her +1 I would have put my money on an active cycle, but then she just went to the moon :confused:

And Yes! I want all cats to turn green!!! This has become one of my top desires for every kitty with diabetes.
My heart has grown even larger, just watching what you all are dealing with and with just dealing with what I have had to deal with in this with Mouzer. My heart aches for everyone, so badly!! I would love it if I showed up here and every single cat went green and in remission!!!
Oh wouldnt that be the most wonderful thing ever!!!!

Gosh it really would! Or that someone found a cure, so we could heal instead of treating :bighug::bighug:
But when that's said, before this I couldn't even imagine there was a place like this out there on the internet. It's been the hardest thing I've ever done, but at the same time an amazing experience, having such wonderful support and meeting people all around the world. I'm seeing things differently now, than just a year ago. My English has improved tremendously!:oops: before this I could speak it, but write very very little.
From having met all you wonderful people, I hope this journey never ends, but for Mauer's sake... and my sanity I really hope it does!:p

No, it's more the rule than the exception that they don't listen :woot:

It's definitely improved! I couldn't spell "with" before all this :p the th suddenly became ht, and then nothing made sense :D
But to be fair, I didn't finish school so I learned from tv shows:smuggrin:

I better get a +2.5 and go to sleep.. it's past midnight here and I'm running out right after Mauer's am shot. Mother's day surprise breakfast :D

Sasha - this just tickled my brain. I feel that I have read here (...somewhere) something about how to work on poor AMPS readings - something about feeding the night before, but that's all my addled brain remembers. Not enough to be useful! I wish I could remember where I saw it so I could send a link. Hopefully one of the experts will chime in - maybe put a question into your title?

You mean feed 3-4 hours before?
Her amps is fine, but the lowest point the whole day...
 
I fed her at +8 today, she wasn't as high as I thought she'd be.
It's funny, her behavior doesn't say she's that high. If I was judging based on behavior I would guess she was high green, meter says yellow o_O and often he behavior says yellow or worse, but then the meter says green!
I'm really glad someone invented BG meters! I could never ever shoot blind, knowing how off her behavior can be... :eek:
 
I am sorry to hear you haven't caught up on you sleep.

I have the same as you, just the other way around. every night has been a bounce fest...

Ha that's where my memory is shot. I don't remember what the actual advice was but it was definitely a specific discussion about the AMPS being off. That's pseudo-helpful. Sorry!
