@Cherryl & Mouzer I'm so glad the Respo-K is helping Mouzer and the other kitties. I hate how the vets just want to push more drugs, but most don't have any training in natural medicines. I found out about the Zyrtec from this board and asked my vet about it. I don't think they would have mentioned it to me. They either wanted to give an antibiotic or didn't have any suggestions for congestion. I'm glad I discovered the Respo-K. I prefer a natural treatment if it works over more drugs that may have side effects.

I found out about Zyrtec through other animals rescues. And I have always kept Lysine for Cats on hand and I was not sure Lysine was ok for the diabetic kitty but I saw people here give it to their diabetic kitties, so I started Mouzer on it. And now we have the Respo-K. When I mentioned Zyrtec to our vet, he goes ... well yeah, it is ok, that is ok, but we might need to do some 'aggressive injections' hahaha

And I had told him no steroids and no sugary medications and he sends me home with a bottle of liquid Clavamox for Mouzer's numbers to go to the high yellows from the greens we had gotten him to and I searched and found that liquid Clavamox does have sugar ... so I got the pill form of Clavamox and Mouzer went back to normal.

But ok, I tell you no sugary medications, you send me home with a sugary medication -- you think I am going to trust you with my diabetic cat!!
I mean, I already know they most likely are too proud to follow my 'rules' as to how to handle the insulin with Mouzer and they would not be testing before or after shots, meaning if he went hypo, they would then charge me an arm and a leg for tending to that, so that was already against them, and then the sugar med hahaaha Nuts!

And they made me pay for that liquid Clavamox with telling me, but we did not know it had sugar. What??? You should have looked it up before even giving it to my diabetic cat! And the vet assured me there was no sugar - But because of pride, I have to pay for their mistake and negligence.

I do prefer a natural medication and I do not like convenia but it has been given to the majority of the cats in my care. I will have to do more research on natural anitbiotics before taking them to the vet any more.

Again, thank you!! And have great day!!
