He might like the FF chicken, tender liver and chicken, beef and the seafood pates: ocean whitefish, cod, soul and shrimp, and salmon. Folks on this site don't recommend a lot of the seafoods. Something to do with something inside that can be harmful to a cat. I don't know but my Susie loves the seafood pates and I do feed them.

There is some evidence that seafood/fish has a tie to the increasing rise of hyperthyroidism in cats. More information on the catinfo website. Those same PDBE's which are a possible cause of hyperthyroidism have also been linked to acromegaly - a reason I will never feed fish to my cats again.

What did you feed Neko? Was it raw? I just can't do the raw and Susie won't eat it.
 
Neko was on mostly low carb wet food when she was diagnosed with diabetes, I switched to raw after a couple months. Because it was suggested by my vet as a food that she and my idiopathic cystitis kitty could both eat.
