No other health conditions that she's being treated for -- other than itchy skin which she takes Omega 3 for. We think she could have allergies and eosinophilic granulomas (on her tongue).
Her clinical signs: After thanksgiving last year, I was feeding the cats leftover turkey (we had SO much) and Jill began camping out in the kitchen screaming for food all the time, very unlike her. We wondered if she just became a foodie; the turkey was really good! Then I started to notice some increased drinking and had a bunch of tests done in December/January. Her BG at the vet was low 200s so they weren't concerned because she gets nervous. Then in March, she peed on the bed where she eats twice and we did a urinalysis and another BG at the vet and she was in the 360s. I had a diabetic cat before (love of my life, lived till a few weeks before his 20th bday) and so I am ultra-sensitive to changes like these.
Other than still peeing outside of the box and drinking a lot, she's doing well. Not as ravenous as she was before, but still really looking forward to mealtime.
I think we caught this early and so I am hoping to be able to help her.
