That's a drop! 180 to 56. I need to go out but I'm not sure how long I'll be and I don't want him dropping lower... He just had some LC food (3 and 5%).

Grem has been going quite well the last few days. No more missed meals, plenty of cuddles. He was in bed with me for an hour this morning!

I'm still recovering from last month but today is day 1 of 11 days off work. I have heaps on but there will be plenty of relaxing in there too. Yay!

Vines and prayers to all that need them ❤️

That IS a drop! Gremlin sounds like he's had several good days. I wish good cuddles and good, safe numbers for you and Gremlin. Enjoy those 11 days! What will you do (I mean, when you're not resting?)

I have some appointments and I'm going to go to Melbourne for a day to visit a friend and meet her new baby. My teen is going to drive. Plus I have gaming nights and next weekend is my nephew's 21st birthday. I'm hoping to be able to do some walking too.

You will be busy! Sounds like fun. And your son will test Gremlin while you are away since your friend can't do it.

I'm not going away until early June and that's only for one night. My son will look after Gremlin then as my friend will be recovering from surgery.

The trip to Melbourne (I should have just said a day trip as almost no one here lives in Australia) next week will only be about 6-8 hours away and there will be no one to test Grem. My son is coming with me. He needs the driving experience and wants to visit as well. My friend will be at work all day. I may see if Grem will use this feeder thing I've got but I'll have to put a collar on him and train him to use it. So that he can get food but my civvies can't.

Yes. I wasn’t sure how many hours away that you live from Melbourne. I thought maybe you were staying a few days! Now Grem will still have you to cuddle with! Anyway, I really hope you enjoy your time off work and get to relax as well (and read some more books?)

oh, and you’ve bought one of those microchip feeders? The one where he would wear a collar and the door to the food would only open for him? I’ve seen those. Or I heard they work with an implanted microchip as well.

My apologies! Yep, just a day trip. He's on too many meds for my son to handle unfortunately so I'm limited to one night. As it is, I need to teach him how to do Grem's insulin. At the moment he only knows how to test his BGL. Which is probably the biggest hurdle with feline diabetes, in my book!

Thank you so much! Yes, I'm definitely going to get a few more books read, and catch up on my TV shows. Yay!

That's the exact type of bowl! My mum gave me an old one of hers. Grem isn't chipped (my younger two are) so he'll have to wear a collar again. I'm hoping training him will be easy... I should probably start tonight!
