QUESTION: I'm having a medical procedure done today. I'm leaving at 1PM (which would be her +4.5) and I won't be back until about 4:30PM. I'm testing her before I leave. She just tested at +2 67. I know that's normal but I didn't expect it to be that low. I'm getting nervous now. I gave her some LC. Should I have given her MC? I want to set her up for success while I'm gone. Help?
 
you can always feed LC with a little MC at +4 just to be safe - since you will be gone for 3 hours.

let's see where she is at +3 and +4 and feed accordingly :-)

Will do! She's on to me, though. She's running and is going to hide. I closed too many doors and she figured it out. Will test asap.

So far, so good! Ty! She's exactly what I was looking for. I drove an hour and a half to get her. Every time I look at her I think how beautiful she is>

What do I do if I can't catch her before I have to leave in an hour and 15 min?
 
What do I leave out for her if I can't test her before i leave in an hour and a half. LC, MC, HC? She's hiding! I also have 2 others that might mooch up her food!

I hope you are able to test her! Can you feed her some LC now to keep her surfing and try testing again in an hour?

Any chance you can separate her so she can have access to the food? Keep in a room for the 3 hours that you are gone?
 
iI hope so too! But I don't think it's going to happen. Are you sure LC is good enought to hold her for about 5 hours? She's contained in the storage room so she's hard to get to. At least there's a littler box in there. Should I leave MC if I can't test her?
 
I meant, feed her LC till you leave to keep her surfing and test before you leave (if possible). And yes, MC if you can't test her.
