Hi all, hope all is well with everyone and all of our furry babies are enjoying the warmer weather.
Casper's BG has remaining high, there is no food change but we found him sneaking on dry everyday, no matter where we hide it.
I increased the dose this morning to 1 per Elise's advise, give it a try and see how he reacts.

We are going to give you detention if you keep sneaking that dry. I do worry about these constant high numbers. Sounds like he’s acting healthy though so that’s good. Checking for ketones? Morning sickness gone?

We are in the process of eliminating the dry in the house, just some times one of us might forget to leave it on the floor somewhere or even on the washer, Casper finds his way to it. One of our cats just loves her dry, she could meows and starve all day if she doesn't get the dry.
Other than that, I can say he is pretty healthy, no keystone found in urine yet, I keep checking at least once every 2 days if I can catch him using the litter box. It can be a challenge since I can't do that myself anymore, always need to rely on the others. Will do a checkup visit once his vet is returned to the office from vacation, the consistent high numbers are not a good sign.

I haven't seen a Casper post in a while! I'm glad you and he are doing okay for the most part, in spite of the high numbers and Casper sneaking dry food when your back is turned:cat:. Silly boy.
Best of luck with eliminating the dry food from the house. Some cats can be so stubborn about it.

I bet you see a yellow preshot. If so try not to let him drop too fast or too low. Fancy feast pate should not cause spikes.

He went to pink last night with the preshot number, and climbed only a little bit by 11PM.
I don't know why I can't edit the tracker today.
