I am keeping our Lantus in the refrigerator. How long can I use it? I don't think that is why he went up but I guess it is possible.
Anybody have a length of time idea to offer??
 
Are you using a vial? My two lasted about 5-6 months. I threw away half of each one. Then I started buying pens because I could use them to the last drop.

I am drawing from a pen into syringe. I have been using it for 42 days. Previously to this pen I was leaving them at room temp and throwing away after 28 days...it seemed like they it didn't work as well after about 25 days.

I've used all pens to the last drop. My current one is 5 months old! I store them in the fridge - not in the fridge door though.

It's probably the furshot and not the insulin. Let's give it 6 cycles for the depot to rebuild.
