Hello from North Carolina!

My Robert Ray is still struggling. He now has a huge lump on his side. My Vet looked at it and it appeared to be sarcoma fluid. He goes to the Vet Friday for a recheck. She wants to draw fluid and have it checked out.
I have been keeping my spreadsheet up to date as I shoot. If I may post a video on him I can show you the lump and how bad his nephropathy is.

If you will, check out his spreadsheet and give me any advice. I am very new at this. Robert Ray was diagnosed last August and I am afraid his treatment has not been the way it should have been. I had no clue what a home testing monitor was until a week ago, as you can see on the spreadsheet when I started testing. He does take Methy B-12 morning and evening for his neuropathy.

He is eating Friskie Pate and Proplan Pate. He is hardly eating. If I spoon feed him, he eats better. I know he has some teeth issues and maybe that is why he has a hard time eating. My Vet will not treat his teeth due to diabetes. I have boiled up some chicken breast and he will nibble on that.

I am so afraid my boy is slowly fading from me. He falls a lot trying to walk. It is all just so dad.

Have you tried asking your vet about trying a different insulin like Lantus or ProZinc?

Sorry to hear about the lump but hopefully when they aspirate some of it they'll find fat cells or an abscess instead of cancer cells

Vet said she tried ProZinc but had not luck with it treating her fur patients snd switched back to vetsulin. I did ask.
