Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening! Happy SPRING! (USA)

On the advice of wonderful FDMB members, we are holding the dose for 6 cycles past his nadir of 52. This is cycle 5, tonight will be 6. We may increase his dose tomorrow.

So happy he has come down out of pink and is hitting blue and green again. I do wish he could dip during the day though as I am a bit of a zombi! Can't have everything my way!

Got DH his Pfizer 1st dose yesterday! Hope he will be ok today.:blackeye:

Jax is beautiful!
We have a civvie that we adopted from the outdoor stray community who is all black and sooo sweet. She is grateful to have a loving family! And a warming pad in the front window all her own!
Tiger has some nerve twitches. He had rear leg neuropathy in the past, but it went away when we switched from Friskies to FF. I noticed you give a medicine for neuropathy. What sort of damage does Jax have? And what is the medicine?

Aww thanks - I have a soft spot for black kitties. Though my civvie - Benji - is a tabby that looks somewhat similar to your profile pic! Benji's my sweetheart, Jax is my troublemaker :rolleyes:

When Jax was dx, he had stopped jumping to counters (he's an old man but can still jump!) and had rear leg weakness. I learned on FDMB methyl b-12 (+ regulation) can help repair the nerves so I did zobaline for about 7 months...August 2020 - March 2021 - basically I didn't reorder it this month because I didn't think he needed it any more.

An alternative to zobaline is to buy the vitacost version - I copied this from @Diane Tyler's Mom who had used it with Tyler (if you buy a different brand, just make sure it doesn't include any sugar) -


A lot of members use this , I use it myself you can buy it on line from Vitacost
Vitamin B-12 Methylcobalamin -- 5000 mcg - 100 Capsules
It's 17.99 just be sure this is the one you buy
The only difference is the Zobaline has 200 mcgs of folic acid
So I buy the folic acid at the supermarket and crush it up and add it to the B-12
If you can't find the 200 mcg get the 400 mcg and cut it in half
The Vitacost brand is a capsule so just open it and pour the powder on the wet food

I guess if +4 is still flat we should think about an increase in the morning?
Any thoughts?
