Her AMPS is 160 @ .75, Is it .75 for being 45 minutes late? Even though my alarm volume was up all the way, I didn't hear it and overslept by 45 minutes. Since I was able to give her her shot. Can I go back to the normal schedule and test her at +6?

Shooting 45 mins late is not too late. Since you shot at 08:15 this morning, you can shoot at 7:45pm tonight.

You would consider your new shot time as AMPS and get tests at hourly intervals from the today's shot time i.e. 8:15am. So +1 would be 09:15am, +2 would be 10:15am etc.

Hi, Lyla. Why am I testing her every hour? I didn't have to do that when I was able to give her her shot in the morning before. Every hour? That's worse than when her numbers were low. A day from hell? I'm not doing that to her. I'm a bit upset.

You don't have to test every hour. What I meant to say was that your AMPS time for this AM would be the time you gave the shot i.e. 08:15am - that is not +0.75.
And your test timings will be from your shot time. So +3 would be 11:15 etc.

I hope I am clear? Sorry for the confusion.

Ok. Are my chart and title correct, then? So I can do the TR schedule and test her at +6, PMPS and +1 (12:15)? I get confused with the +s
I’d get a +2 and then decide what other tests are needed.
Huh? +2 is at 10:30. I just got this about an hour ago which was about noon.

We like to suggest getting a +2 because it can act a lot like a crystal ball in what the rest of the cycle is going to look like.

If the +2 is about the same as the PS, it's usually going to be a pretty normal cycle....gradually down to nadir and then gradually back up to the next PS.

If the +2 is a lot higher than the PS, that usually means there's a bounce starting and it's usually OK to take a little bit of a break on testing.

If the +2 is lower than the PS, that's your "early warning" that Haley might be going a lot lower later in the cycle and it's important to try to get some other tests in to keep her safe.

TR only requires 4 tests per day, but that doesn't mean you should only get 4....if it's possible, it's better to get tests at different points in the cycles so you can start to get a good idea of when Haley's Onset, Nadir and Duration usually fall along the cycle.

If you can only get 4 per day, then you always get the 2 Pre-shots and then get at least 1 somewhere mid-cycle on the AM cycle (like between +4 and +6) and at least a "before bed" on the PM cycle (usually at least 2-3 hours after the PM shot)
