? OC’s bumpy BG, insulin advise

Hi
I am worried about oc’s BG number.
Yesterday he was too low AMPs BG50, after food +1BG58. Had to go to work so dint do insulin asking the vet’s they said not to.
at night PMPS came 346, did 4unit as per advised.
Now today I had work so had to drop him off at his vet for observation all day. After all day his vet advised to continue 4units if vetsulin. His PMPS is 111. AMPS was 297, at vets +2 BG246, +4 &+7 BG107. The vet advised to continue 4units. Isn’t 4units gonna be too much dose right now? I just doing 2units now. Please help me tell me its okay or not?

I wish I could just upload his check in reports that I bring with me today from vet’s couldn’t be able to update the spreadsheet all the way to the start , so that experts could see & tell me what to do now.

Don’t even know if I am communicating right. If i should write here or other thread.

btw he was diagnosed last year. Oc went in to remission after 5months. But his glucose came back again in January 2021

Hey! Following from FB! U will hafta stay up and test...I'll try and help until someone more experienced comes in...Have you tested recently? Also u might want to change ur title to 911...

Tested after PMshot at +2 BG is 254 after 2units vetsulin. Idk if I should wait or go ahead and do rest of the 2 units now.

My cat was that high for awhile...I was always told never to give additional insulin..I would leave him/her at the dose u gave earlier..and wait til the next dose to gage what u should give at least..
 
Update-

Tested again @4.25hrs of PMshot BG143. I think 2 unit was a good decision today. Will wait one more hour. If number looks okay i will do AMPS n call his vet. Thanks @Becca84 & @FrostD for you support ♥️

Yes.. he eats fancy feast classic pate morning & night. Total 2 cans. And 2 tbls Young again in the afternoon.. am seeing a little spike on YA which is weird as he gone into remission with that last year.. but anyway if I need to change that i will incorporate that too. I am glad that oc is eating ff all of a sudden.. a couple months ago he dint even touch that.
