I do not like to anticipate good or get head of myself or count chickens before they hatch.
Life has proven to be full of surprises to be anything the opposite of that which is hoped for, so I wont get excited but I will admit, my heart jumped with a surprise at this mornings amps 247, even if it could be higher, seeing the yellow shed a little hope on it all.

I had to rub my eyes and check if it was 347 or 247. Yay! Work this dose, Mouzer!

sh sh sh sh heehee You are speaking the excitement I feel but am trying to suppress for now hahaha

It is an hour after am shot and I do not know if it is ok to still do the +2 and see where Mouzer is or should I do a +1.
I am not wanting to stick Mouzer's ear any more than I have to because he needs a little ear stick break.
I do not think he could go 247 to a dangerously low level but I have read a lot around in the forums, as I search for information, where some kitties have gone from way high to way low, which would trip me out hahaha Reading and seeing what all others have had to deal with has had my jaw dropped and eyes popping out at times :D

if he is more or less flat or higher at +6, you can stop testing till PMPS.

amps +6 257
And I am guessing this is what you mean by flat.
So, peace be unto Mouzer til pmps hahaha
At least he is holding the 200's so far today.
Maybe we can see some 100's tomorrow :D

The first time Mouzer was dx with diabetes, he was in remission within a month. I had purchased a Lantus pen from a pharmacy here and paid the high dollar for that and got a box of five pens from Mark's. The first pen never even got half way used and we had to evacuate for Irma and the five pens from Mark's got left behind, electric went out, we were gone for a week, so I had to trash those.

In 2018, I got a scare that Mouzer's diabetes was back. I re-ordered five pens from Mark's. Stricter watch over food and Mouzer's numbers were back to normal.
Mouzer did not need those pens. They are expired and I just now threw them in the trash.

Now, I have a pen from someone here in the forum. Five pens just arrived from Mark's.
And still, I am willing that only some of the one is used and none of Mark's has to be used.
Better that money goes in the trash than for a kitty to be stuck with live diabetes.

And if this is that Mouzer is getting into the dry without being seen, if we can get another remission, this time there will be no dry around him but the Young Again or Dr Elsey's, as long as delivery does not go awry due to covid. Watching Chewy be out of stock often of late, has me a little nervous about the animal food.

okkkkkkk 3/9 Mouzer: AMPS 247/+2 279/+6 257/PMPS 387, 327, 318

Mouzer has eaten 4oz of friskies two hours before a test before but this did not happen.
He just did this and I do not know if that could have made his bg to go up.
I did those three tests, making sure.
I will test again at pmps +2

EDIT: I did not do the pmps +2. Mouzer was on the bed with me and cuddled with his two favorite buddies.
I was so tired. Mouzer was so relaxed.
So, I opted to leave it be. I did wake and do a pmps +4 which was 285.
