Good morning Gill, and thanks for your message! Pearl She is super carb sensitive so I use the 3% in place of MC believe it or not! I do have some syrup here and can add a drop if needed. She just tested 68 at +2 so doing good! I really hope she surfs today, with her pattern b/c of the Pancreatitis attack no idea if she plans or surfing or skyrocketing.

Do you think you could perhaps not refer to it as MC, I just worry about a lot of folk that lurk, don't post, getting the wrong end of the stick....
I'm trying to think of something else you could call it but I'm stumped.:blackeye:

Thanks, Susanne! Pearl is double-dipping into the 50s, this is new for us. I hope this means she won't plummet, which would also be new for us o_O I will keep monitoring closely. I hope you and the boys have a good day, too!

Thanks, Gill. I so hope she stays green now that she is there. We have never maintained this low of number for so long (50s), so I hope that means good things but with her recent wonky schedule I have zero clue! Yes, she does keep me on my toes - but I so much prefer the greens than the blues or yellows! I feel somehow like I can control the greens better. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Looking great!! I'm so glad Pearl's pancreas is feeling better; she is making you look like a pro, too. Well you are her pro most definitely.

Tina was pretty good at showing me the difference in 2% and 4% carb food. I would feed the lowest as the last snack before a pre shot, and feel all smart and manipulative . . . when I finally figured it out!

Oh Karen, I am so hoping for that! Earlier on at this dose, she was angling for that reduction...then ended up with a threat for dose increase....now back down again and hopefully wanting a reduction. Good golly, this is an emotional roller coaster! :arghh:

Hi Jan, how are you doing? Thank you for the well wishes. I really do hope that today's numbers continue. What a crazy 'on-off' switch and wild ride the past 5 days have been! She even got a dose increase threat yesterday! Hahaha, funny how that works ;)

I did not take for bloodwork. I will try to ride it out a bit longer since today there was some improvement. Talked with my vet, she wants Pearl to stay home on more Buprenex and Cerenia for awhile unless she declines, then we will need to do bloodwork asap.

As long as she’s feeling better, the tests can wait.

I think Pearl was just determined to show she was going to do it her way!!

Oh yeah, makes you really wonder who is in charge here ;) It's HER way or the high way! Marje, if she doesn't make a comeback and I need to increase dose, I can do that on Thursday (home all day Thurs - Mon) so good time for increase. But I am nervous given her lows of 51, so please guide me on whether or not it's needed at that time. I can tag you tomorrow night if that is ok?
