Thanks BhoomaGood morning!
Feed a little MC at AMPS. See if we can prevent that dive at onset.
Bandit's looking good, lots of limes lately. Thanks Bhooma![]()

Hey Bhooma, show me how you look when Bandit ... This is good, no? She’s been earning several reductions. Dolly hasn’t had a lime green in a month since she had a reduction that failed. Can you briefly explain what happens when they drop that low. That can happen even if you give them syrup and/or hc food, correct? My mind is a blank. Elise said she will need to get a reduction by the book next time, 3 on different days, same dose etc. I hate to sound stupid but it happensAsk me how I look when she drops like that!![]()
I checked out Hercules condo and spreadsheet. I guess I am asking if Dolly is just going to stay happy at this dose and there will be no chance of getting off insulin.Yes, but I wish she would flatten out some. Oh well....
Not sure what your question on reductions is. For long term diabetics, it is one drop below 40 or 3 drops between 40 and 50 on three different days. Dolly was earlier holding reductions, but after the last failed reductions, we may have to follow the 3 drops rule.
Sometimes it's hard to bring them up over 50 even with HC and honey. Look at Hercules' spreadsheet today. Sometimes, MC is enough. Depends on how carb sensitive the cat is and how late in the cycle the drop occurs.
Not sure I answered your question!

I’m not sure I understand Tyler’s spreadsheet. I looked at last year and “he” had a lot of reductions then increases. I can understand the increases but the reductions were based on what?? So if Dolly continues to do this well on this dose we can try a reduction or does she have to drop into 40’s. I don’t see this (drops) on Tyler’s spreadsheet. One can never say/know. Look at Tyler's SS. His numbers just suddenly improved and he went OTJ.

Thanks Bhooma.Yeah, it's hard to predict which way she will go. One option is to test at +1 or +1.5 and feed accordingly. But that would mean an additional test.
Tyler was initially on SLGS. Reductions were earned with a drop below 90.
Another method to earn reductions under TR is to stay in normal numbers for a week - so between 50 and 100.
Bhooma, if you are out there, GOODNIGHT and thank you. We just had a steam bath, BG, some food and it's time to get some sleep, EARLY. Have a lovely day Bhooma, Bandit and sweet BudgeThanks Bhooma.![]()
. Her numbers were strange today.

Hi Sue,Good Morning Adrienne, I probably won't be around much longer today but wanted to say what a lovely cycle Dolly had yesterday. Nice low and almost flat - those low blues and high greens are very similar ... she looks like she likes this dose!
I hope you are doing well. Have a good day![]()

if he had the angioplasty and what the prognosis is
That’s great news. My husband was having pre op for surgery for prostate removal due to cancer. A decision we made out of fear back then and regret today. When they did his ekg they saw problems and instead of his surgery they did an angioplasty and found two completely blocked arteries, no symptoms, and put in two stents. Don’t know if I explained this correctly but I know you will understand. That’s why I was concerned for your husband. I hope he is okay. My husband did have the prostatectomy. He didn't need the angioplasty - his arteries were all clear! That's the good news. Now we're waiting to hear from the doctor as to what might be 'next steps'.
