Going by that +2.75, looks like another pokie break kind of day! You could get another test or two in the cycle but I doubt she is going to be swimming with the sharks!
 
Good evening... I'm a little late checking in but Missy got her shot on time and had a very nice day grooming herself and sleeping. :)
PMPS 320.... guess we shall see what she has planned for me tonight. :joyful:
 
She started in the pink on 2/2 (AM) and ended up in the green, so it's possible! Feed every hour and get a +3 :-)

I will check back at +3.
Also I checked her blood ketones. Even with higher numbers her ketones were 0.1. I think this is the lowest blood ketone reading yet. Great news!! :)
 
Missy has dropped quite quickly again. I'm getting that I can read her now which is why I thought I better test her at +2.5.
She dropped from 320 to 104 in 2.5 hours.
I have been feeding hourly...
Should I do the LC/MC mixture again like we did the other day?

Yes I did.... I hope that was the right thing to do. I figured because it was such a big drop and we were only at +2.5 I better try and slow her down a bit.

Let's see where she is at +3. See if we can stick to LC from +3. :-)

Hopefully she won't drop any more. She usually flattens out after +3. We may have been okay with LC at +3, but better to be safe. :-)
Note down on the SS what you feed so we know how she reacted to carbs.

Some people have extra columns to note down food. Like this:

She's gone up a bit to 68 now. I will take a look at the links you sent me when I can. Thank you for those. I keep detailed notes in my book at home and also there are notes in my spreadsheet but another column would be easier for you guys to see.
 
Feed her some LC and test in an hour. Half an hour if that makes you feel better. :-)
Will add the food columns to your SS.
 
She ate at +4 and I tested her at +4.5 she was 74. I then tested her just now at +5 and she is back down to 68 (this is one hour from last meal). o_O

Im the auto feeder lol.... I have two other cats so they will eat it. I will be up and will check on her. She heading up now so you can go and enjoy your day. Thank you for being here and supporting me again. :bighug:

Feed a little now and take a break from testing. Test again at +9.5. If she's still below 100, feed again so that she's not too low to shoot at AMPS.
 
Also my only other concern is tomorrow AMPS.... what if she is still fairly low or lower than I have ever shot before. Do I still go ahead? Only if its below 50 I don't shoot, correct? Will you be around in 6.5 hours if I need to ask you?

Did you see this? And I think your AMPS will be 5.5 hours from now? Not 6.5?
