Grem isn't so great today. And that AM number has shocked me! Even after a dose decrease.

Last night he didn't finish his tea, then ate barely any supper. This morning (much to my dismay) he only had a couple of licks of breakfast. And he'd already had his Meloxicam. Hopefully he doesn't get an upset belly on top of whatever is upsetting him already. He is practically guzzling water today and has been to the toilet fine. He let me pick him up and cuddle him for a short time but no hint of a purr.

I wonder if it's perhaps his mouth. Or kidneys. Or hypertension. Or did he hypo overnight. Or is it his time...

I can't stay home all day today :arghh: but I will try to come home in between what I need to do. I'll at least be home for the next two hours.

Thank you everyone!!

I hope your two are well and happy Marje!

It's just after 1pm here now and Grem is surfing safely. He's still not as happy as I'd like but everyday isn't going to be perfect. He is still eating well and drinking a LOT so I'm happy with that. He keeps sleeping in the little bed under the scratch tree, I'm unsure why. Possibly it's just an effect of cognitive disfunction. I'm going to give him a break from testing now until either +10 or PMPS and then go from there. If he's still low, I'm going to consider dropping his dose again, even if by 0.1u. I think it's more important for Grem to be stable (and me to be able to sleep).

For the first time in a long time, Grem spent the evening in the main room with us during a gaming night. We even have a dog that comes and Grem was pretty good (he hasn't really since he lost most of his vision).

Looks like I may need to put Grem's dose back up. Ugh... I don't want him dropping so low again but also don't want his BGL sky high either. See what the morning brings.

He may just be bouncing from that long stretch of green. He was probably green in the second half of yesterday's PM cycle as well.
Let the bounce clear and see how low he goes on this dose to take it back up? Especially since you'd rather keep him at a dose where he doesn't go too low?

It feels like Grem can spike to yellow for days. He's so up and down all the time. Guess I'll try to hold the dose for another two days so it's a full cycle, though I already gave him a little extra this morning (see new condo/spreadsheet)... How long does a bounce normally take to clear? For Grem it feels like it can be hours or several days...
