2/5 Cosmo PMPS 302, +1.5 256, +3 112, +6 59, +7 56, +8 65, +9 76, +10.5 88

Easy there, Cosmo :cat: I heard there's a beach party today, you better stay else you may have FOMO :cat:

Have a wonderful day, Tanya :bighug:

Very nearly earned a reduction today, but I am glad we can hold onto it for at least another cycle. He was easy to bring back up according to DH. :D I predict he may earn it soon.

@Wendy&Neko are you seeing this? what a difference! :cat::cat::cat:

Right!?! Who is this guy?
I don't know! Maybe he heard that Butters was holding a casting call for the role of boyfriend #2 since Tyler hightailed it to the falls:p. I hear he was a hit.

Cosmo has really come into his own, though, thanks in no small part to the effort you and DH have spent on adjusting his foods and figuring out his dropsies and dosing. :bighug:

Haha. We have actually never tried testing Jasper for fun. We have pretended to test him, but without the pokie if we think he feels left out

If places were switched and it was Budge who was diabetic, we'd lose a limb every time we tried to test her. She won't even let us give her the sub-q shot of Cartrophen at home. We have to put her in her basket and pretend to take her to the vet and give her the shot outside the apartment because she's spooked enough to not gouge our eyes out!

I have a random question...how are you deciding when to test? I've been spending a lot of time looking at various spreadsheets to learn, and when I look at yours, I'd have missed a lot if it were my cat.

Example: 1/29. I'd have done that before bed test and gone to bed without planning to do another til AMPS. And I'd have missed all those lows.

Is it just something you've learned over time with Cosmo? That his numbers aren't as "predictable" (perhaps due to the gastro food/kibble?) and to just test as often as you can?

Good question :) Sometimes we have seen a bit of a predictable pattern, but other times, he has been pretty up and down, so testing to be careful and to learn in Cosmo’s history.

On 1/29, you can see that he started his day on the am cycle at 430, then started to make his way down breaki g his bounce. Even though his PMPS went up a little bit, he was still on a bounce breaking cycle that can have more momentum. Same thing on 1/19 pm cycle going into 1/20 am cycle.

Last year, it wasn’t uncommon for him to go from red/black to green/blue in the same cycle  He showed us his affinity for dropsies. Lol.

Otherwise, we are still learning to trust him, especially how that he is looking better. We are trying to figure out his new surf. ECID (every cat is different)
