Didn't reduce :nailbiting::eek:

How low do I shoot and not reduce?
And what number do I stall and ask for help?
@Wendy&Neko

I'm thinking I'm going to have a light night with lots of testing :woot:
I feel more comfortable during her AM cycle, I'm not constantly nervous that she'll go low. I think I need to see she won't during her PM cycle either. Hopefully!

Good job shooting full dose! :cool: The first time you shoot your lowest number to date, a +1 and a +2 are a good place to start. They'll give you an idea what the cycle might shape up like. They'll show you if she's still dropping and what sort of good bump you get.

And what number do I stall and ask for help?
150 on this forum, if following TR. Yes, back to that dosing method question again. :p As for when to reduce dose, again, based on data you accumulate and that darn dosing method choice.

I ran straight to bed, and got up +3 to test. And in hindsight I could have slept through :woot:

I really need to make a decision on that!
I'm so terrible at making decisions. You know in a parking lot for example, I can't decide on the left or right spot.. even that is difficult!
Screw this, I want the TR. I want her spreadsheet greener than my lawn!!!
I want my grass to be envious of her freaking spreadsheet! :D:p

Or you could have gotten a +3 then slept the rest of the night.

Good for you making a decision. ;) Please at "TR" to your signature so we can (1) stop asking, (2) provide more precise answers.

I was curious... and afraid to sleep if she dropped :oops:
I'll do that right away!

I forgot to make a new thread and now it just seems silly to do so :oops:
Does a fur shot cover anything other than an actual fur shot?
I'm wondering if I might be doing something wrong?

Hi Sasha, have you done fur shots before? usually you have an inclination it has happen because you feel a wetness in the fur. I always pass my hand over the spot i shot afterwards to check.

However, you are quite experienced giving insulin, so the most reasonable explanation is that this dose is just not high enough... but you should wait a few more days to adjust because first time on L insulins you are supposed to wait for a week (unless too low or way to high, which is not the case...) before changing dose. Patience... she is loooking good, numbers are not going everywhere not going everywhere and she is mostly on yellow and blues. that is good!

I've never done a fur shot, and I also feel if she's wet after, she never is. But I can't help feeling that somethings wrong...
But it might just be the delay of the onset thats confusing me, its probably the most likely scenario...
