Hi all
Grandma was diagnosed with CKD and pancreatitis along on 31 Dec and thanks to some great resource suggestions in this group I started her on B Vitamins, Methylcobalamin, CBD, Buprenex and a phosphorus binder. I switched her food to Weruva Truluxe Glam N Punk and Cat on a Wok along with Soulistic Turkey and Chicken. These four options seem to have the best balance of protein/fat/carbs/phosphorus. I was giving her Tiki Cat for a bit but her BG numbers did better on the Weruva and I think the high protein/no carbs with Tiki Cat isn't as good for her. We re-did her labs last week and the good news is that her numbers are generally better overall and I've uploaded both sets of tests but here are the highlights:

We re-did her labs last week and the good news is that her numbers are generally better overall and I've uploaded both sets of tests but here are the highlights:
- Glucose was 181
- Fructosamine went from 293 to 247 and the vet recommended I decrease her insulin slightly from .5 to .4
- Phosphorus went from 6.5 to 4.0
- RBC went from 5.23 to 7.04
- Hemoglobin from 9.1 to 11.6
- MCH from 17.4 to 16.5
- MCV from 56 to 54.5 (still considered high)
- Platelets from 87 to 462
- IDEXX SDMA from 20 to 10
- Creatinine from 3.1 to 2.0
- BUN from 57 to 60
