Wooh! I couldnt believe my eyes so i tested again and it was only a few numbers higher. I upped his dose today to 3.75 so maybe thats the magic number. I did give him half a can aof fancy feast pate to keep him from going too low and bouncing like crazy later on. But im sure he still will. In another hour and a half he gets his boiled chicken so he'll have another small meal soon. He's been great lately. Super energetic, furs growing in at super speed, chin acne almost gone and ketones still negative. Vet apt friday to make sure his stitches have healed and applying another libre. But i hope this is going to be the new trend

Ughhh went back to the vet today for a recheck. Now he has a yeast infection in his ears. Always something. And they placed the libre in such a bad spot i dont think its going to last more than a couple days. When he sits to eat its right on his shoulder blade like the first time :banghead:

That's the problem these days. You can't get the staff.

:D

Hope the yeast infection clears quickly. ((( OJ )))

Especially since they placed it in basically the same spot the first time and it didnt take i really was thinking they'd put it down further like the 2nd one he had.
And thanks i hope so too. He's always had super waxy ears but never smelled like an infection would so i just never thought anything of it

HI
I am a groomer and see lots of yeast infections-I found that this works really well to prevent a yeast infection. Many of my clients say wiping the ears out a few times a week can keep the yeast away. If a yeast prone pet has been on a AB it is more likely they will also get a yeast infection.
These are the 2 ingredients I look for in a wipe.
my 2 cents :)
Chlorhexidine Wipes with Ketoconazole

I don't know why the font changed:confused:
