1/28 Tibby PMPS 249, +3 94, +3.5 72, +4 61, +5 39, +5.5 57, +6 81

The bounce will let you catch a breath! :)

So how come the switch back to SLGS?

If yesterday had happened any other weekday, I wouldn't be here. I can't easily stay home from work or change my hours. The idea that he would be in that low of numbers without me there is just too frightening.

I'll try it again maybe over Feb break, and definitely over the summer.

It's not all bounce, that half dose will drain the depot. Which can be a good thing for higher doses. And it looks like Tibby is drifting down already. :)

We just got back from the vet, and he was happy with how Tibby looks. He's doing a full blood and urine panel, but when I said I just lowered the dose last night, he said that he might be on a downward turn. We're going to keep acromegaly in our minds, but he seems to be doing well in the eyes of the vet.

Also, Tibby might get renamed Tubby. He's up to 14 lbs. But he was skin and bones when we started insulin, and he used to always weigh 15 lbs before he became diabetic. Tibby is a big boy.

I did. We talked about it. He wants to see how this up and down shakes out, and how the blood tests look, and then we're going to talk when I take him back this summer or sooner, depending on how I feel. He's going to look at my spreadsheet and read up some more in the next few days. He said he's only had two cases in his career, but he knows it's very under-diagnosed. He told me all the prices and everything. He's actually the one who directed me here to the FDMB.

Summer is a long time away. The sooner you get treatment for acromegaly, if that is what he has, the better the outcomes. At least the vet has seen the condition before, that's a plus.

That was just the latest possible time. He's looking at the spreadsheet, reading up on it, and waiting for the tests he ran today. It's been a while since he's seen it, so he didn't want to order tests without looking into it a bit. So he may call next week with some plans. He's also very cautious about costs of tests. So many people probably react with "no way" once they hear the costs. He did note that Tibbs had gained weight. :( One pound in the past 6 months.

Six months ago he was unregulated, so of course he'd be underweight then. Getter better regulated does mean they will likely gain some weight.

Well, I may be in for a long night. His PMPS was 249, and at +3 he is 94.

I just fed him a little weruva lamburgini

I have a little knock-off nutribullet for him. It was originally for me, but oh well.

I hope so! And I think I would do TR again over my February break and April break. Maybe he needs a little switch up every now and then.

Dang it. I tried to post a cute pic of him

Good catch! He really wants that reduction. Good to see you are keeping on notes on what you fed and when. That'll be helpful next time you see him low. Also will help you decide how carb sensitive he is.

Could up update the subject so we know he's not still diving in the 30's.

It's west coast, still early here. :) Yes, you can wait an hour. Maybe a tsp or two of LC to see if he'll surf here. Don't fill him up.
