We reached a dark green number at yesterday’s PMBG... back to normal this AM.

Simba’s vet visit went well...ish. He’s still a hefty 6,5kg and very powerful and wiggly when he’s feeling well. The vet did not manage to draw enough blood for a sample as Mr. Impatient had things his way. She assured me that there’s no way his fructosamine levels could be elevated with constant BG readings like we’ve had lately. About his teeth she suggested we keep cleaning them at home, as his gums aren’t irritated. She said we could come in for a dental clean in half a year. I think she’s still picking her jaw up from the floor as this was a totally different Simba today than two months ago... :D

I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday & all the kitties surf safely!

If only he'd hold his paw out nicely for the vet to get a blood sample...

DAy 9 on the brilliant greens! Well done Simba!

p.s. Would love to see the vet's jaw in the floor... Hope that means the new cat that comes in their door gets better advice!

How was the vet not able to get blood from a kitty with such an innocent, sweet looking faceo_O?
Glad your beautiful boy is feeling and doing so well! Happy day 9:D.

Way to show them who's boss at the vet visit, Simba :cat:

So happy to read the good vet report and what a beautiful picture of him :bighug:

Happy Day 9!

:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

I want to give that face a big smoooooosh, but I've a feeling I might be risking life and limb:p

Wow what a difference removing the kibble made for Simba!!

He likes to ride low doesn't he?
Congrats on day 9

He looks annoyed, but he's a big softie. :D Yes removing kibble and switching food (I was unknowingly feeding him 33% carb veterinary diet crap!!!) made a massive difference. His favourite colour is lime green.

Thank youuuu! :bighug: We are almost ready to party.

I hope so too! This vet is the one that prescribed Lantus without kicking up a fuss, so she's in my good books. The other one - not so much. :D Or the "cat specialist" we went to...

Awww Simba is so CUUUUTE!!!! Can I please accept the offering of his paw? LOOK AT THOSE BEAN SPROUTS! So glad he's doing so well OTJ so far! May it long continue :)
He is my sunshine. :cat: I love those big pink squishy toe beans and all of the ginger hair poking out in between so so so much! Thank you! :)

He's got an attitude towards vets behind that little pink nose of his. And I don't blame him, after all the poor treatment he's had to endure! Thank you! :bighug:
