1/19 Chloe AMPS 348 help- swollen face

Yes, but I have a bigger problem now. She's got a cut behind her whiskers and the whole side of her face is swollen huge! She also peed on the bed again. I wonder if I could put some aloe on it (her face, not the bed) or ointment. It must hurt. I'm wondering if Cheddar scratched her in the face. Her eye is barely open on that side. Why does this always happen when the vet is closed?

I looked it up and they are okay for cats. She seems to have settled down now. The vet is closed today, soo I'll call her first thing tomorrow. I'm also worried about Chloe's weight. She's eating well, though.

It's very bad The whole side of her face is puffed out and her eye is completely shut. She seemed hungry this morning, but stopped eating after a minute or two. I think she's in pain. I'm so scared this might be the end.

The vet just called. They cleaned it out. It was an absess where Cheddar had bitten or scratched her. He is not sleeping in my room at night. He lets her groom him and suddenly nips at her. Ungrateful little brat. Chico doesn't even like to play with him anymore. I will pick her up at 4:45 and discuss what antibiotic to give her.

Is that why the eye is also closed shut besides the cut behind her whiskers

Yes, her face was so swollen, she couldn't open her eye. I go to pick her up in an hour. All 4 cats (used to) sleep in my bedroom at night; 3 on the bed, and Fuzma beneath it. If I lock the boys out, Fuzma will come up on the bed and sleep on the other side of the pillow as Chloe. If I only lock out Cheddar, without Chico, he will sit at the door and cry.
