Nice blue surf. I’d stop testing this cycle but would test a little early for PMPS in case we need to know if she’s still going down or in the way up so you won’t need to stall. I’d get a +11.5 maybe.

So glad you said to test early. Lily is reading 82 at +11.5.
 
If she’s over 50 at PMPS you can shoot if you feel comfortable. Think about it. If she’s not still coming down at pmps you can feed some mc and shoot. What do you think?
 
I would not do that if she were my cat. Shoot low to stay low. If you want to get her into remission you will need to shoot under 100. Usually when shooting low you have a nice flat cycle. You hold the syringe as we say here so it’s your choice. Think about it. Get another test for PMPS. Then you will need to decide because without food she might drop more.

Ok, thanks Elise. Scary but I want her in remission.
 
It is scary at first. I will stay with you and guide you and if necessary Bhooma or Bron will help. I won’t leave you until she’s safe. I promise. It is the only way to stop her from bouncing, being in normal numbers. How many minutes until PMPS? Think 10?

She is 77. I have Fancy feast with gravy to feed her. About 2 teaspoons? And then will give her .75 Lantus.
 
Yaaaaaaay for shooting a full dose at 77:D!!!! Congratulations! That's exactly what you want to do to keep Lily in those nice healing green numbers.

I know it's so hard at first, but you have a team of people to support you and make sure you keep Lily safe. And after you do it a few times, you'll be encouraging others to do it, too:bighug:!

Yes. You can feed her normal +2. Maybe a little less to keep her hungry. If she’s dropping at *2 you can add a little bit of gravy. If flat just her usual meal.
