@Deb & Wink and @Shelley & Jess and @JanetNJ NJ Logan tested at +10 (535pm) at 120bg.. In an hour i am sposed to give him his shot at 630pm +11?pmps.. i plan to stall 20-30 mins IF hes till below 150bg.. please monitor this and let me know..proper procedure..I plan to update my SS and this post depending of his readings, the last two shots his insulin was changed from1.10 to 1.25.. .. maybe the 1.25 is too high/? but the 1.10 seemed too low.. at (640pm) +11 bg118.. am thinking i should give less of a dose//?? tested at (711pm)+11ish his bg is 117

JUST TESTED HIM AT 742PM +11 3/4 HIS BG IS 126.. WHAT DOSEAGE.. /?.25?????

Hi. Stall for up to an hour. If it's still low,you can either skip or give a tiny 0.25 dose

Can you stall longer to see if it's still going up? If it's close to 200 you could shoot more. If it's still around 150 I would do 0.25 unless you can stay up and watch him. It will probably be higher tomorrow morning but better than going too low.

That's OK. It's fine to stall when you need to.

@JanetNJ @Deb & Wink last nite I tested Logan at+4 (128am) his bg was404,, i guess it was too early. (i was tired, but thats no excuse to not get in another test, right?) Unfortunately i didn't get in another test till the AMPS at(737am) and his bg was333. i thought for sure it would have been higher.. his appetite was a bit less than normal.. he ate 2 cans of ff verses his normal hungry 3 cans,. I shouldn't have been so stressed with his earlier numbers being in the 'normal' range of 120-150bg.. thats considered normal i learned later. OOPS on my part for saying possibly a Hypo.. this all is still so new for me...

No need for another test at that point. He wasn't going to go anywhere close to too low. Normal on a human meter is 50-120.
