Thank you. Hope Butters is okay now?
It can be frightening when they drop low. Blue doesn't have another chemo treatment until the 31st. They're every 3 weeks. He's doing pretty well. His BG is great. He hasn't had insulin in maybe a week.
I never thought he'd be in the green for so long.

Noodle's eating is still iffy but we're hanging in there.

Hope that you and both your two- and four-legged families are having as grand a day as possible, even though it's not quite the traditional gathering of the clan this year. :bighug:

Hi Patty! Oh yes, Butters is fine. Thanks for asking. I've had to increase her insulin all the way up to 4.25U but she finally started seeing greens and then last night I got to have a PJ party with her. LOL. I haven't seen green numbers in so long I was out of practice. It took more effort figuring out what to feed her.

Blue looks like he is doing great without insulin! That's amazing. Glad to hear he is doing pretty well with the chemo treatments. I hope he continues to handle them well.
 
Happy Butters is getting into greens again. I didn't think Blue would ever see them. It happens!
That's a good bit of insulin. I don't know enough about this but it's a lot more than I've given Blue.
I guess it doesn't matter how much as long as we test them. Blue and I had pj parties a week at a time.
I was exhausted. Hope you get some rest tonight. :bighug:

Oh yes, Blue is 113 tonight. I'm not sure why he sometimes goes into the hundreds at night but I'm
keeping track of the food I'm feeding as you suggested. Hopefully I'll see a pattern soon.
 
113 is still in normal range:cool:. I’d say that’s a win for Blue.
Thanks! I’m happy too. I was beginning to wonder if I’d ever see another green. It took 2.5 months of increasing her dose but it finally happened. I remember your epic pj parties with Blue, night after night. I’m tired from just the one!
 
I'm a night person but not all night and every night. LOL, it was quite an experience. I sure hope you don't have to do that. Our furbabies are worth it though. I feel terrible for people that have to work.
Hope you get some rest tonight and Butters stays low but not too low! :)
