Butters & Lyla

Yesterday cute night, butters. She heard I was planning an increase, and earned a decrease instead.

That PJ party was enough "playing" to earn Butters her fifth P. She also vigorously licked a catnip pillow at around midnight (playing) and demanded to go outside to sniff fresh air (also playing) at around 2am:rolleyes:. I'll save up those extra playing points for a rainy day.

Merry Christmas to those who observe the holiday.

Have wonderful day, all:bighug:.

Nice numbers and congratulations on the reduction. Sounds like a lot of Ps at the party!

Merry Christmas and have a lovely day Lyla :bighug:

Morning Lyla, Butters was saving all of these amazing numbers for you on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Butters you wanted to go outside at 2AM really, you were being a little
scooch again.:p
I'm so happy for her Lyla .Good luck with the reduction
Merry Christmas ♥♥:bighug::bighug::cat:

LOL, Elizabeth, so many extra Ps. I could've lived without the "PJ" P :p.
She was, Diane. It was nice to see her in good spirits so I humoured her. Harnessed her up and took her out in the snow.

A shave on a smaller dose might be like a 0.25 units on 4.25 units percentage wise.
Thinking back to when I pointed out that those .25U increases were getting smaller and smaller percentage wise, good point that the same applies to decreases.:D
It will be interesting to see if she holds this reduction. If she does, it might be a first.

Cute. Real cute, Butters. We all know who runs the show over there (for the record, there was ZERO doubt). Be kind to mama bean today :cat:

Have a wonderful day, Lyla :bighug:

65 @+2. I sure hope this is an AM+14 nadir. Otherwise, there will be no rest or sleep, Butters continues to run the show (of course) and be cute), and the gift of greens continues.
I have some frozen ziwipeak venison in the freezer. I think it is a little higher carb. I fed a little of that.

70 @+3.
63 @+4 - Fed 10 grams venison.
Maybe she will surf the night away.

ETA amount of food fed @+4.

The reason why I think it’s possible for her to come down the dosing scale quickly is because the glucose toxicity is gone. She wasn’t getting insulin while in the ER at times and then when she came home increases were conservative as she wasn’t feeling well. I’ve seen cats that break through glucose toxicity come back down as fast as they went up. Not always but it happens. It’s just a hunch I have.

I hope she never has another acute pancreatitis flare. I think it’s likely she has had chronic pancreatitis so she might have flares. Since you know this and have medication to treat her it shouldn’t become another acute flare I think. With flares her bg might go up but not like what happened this time. I could be wrong. I hope not.

I'm sorry I didn't get to visit your condo yesterday! Wanted to wish you and Butters a lovely Christmas Day! But my day kinda spiraled out of control! Looks like Butters gave you a lovely Christmas present - with all those lovely green numbers and many P's! I'm so glad she's doing so much better!

I hope she continues to travel the road to improvement! Have a lovely day after Christmas Lyla!:bighug:
