I wanted to thank everyone for getting us through a stressful but good day. I am always grateful and hope I don’t forget to express it. You all have a special place in my heart for supporting us and most important understanding how very important Dolly is to us. I could go on forever but fortunately for all of you, I won’t.:D

Still coming down @+5.5. Should I be feeding mc, it's a little late in her cycle.

When was the last time you fed her? I would feed a little LC if she's still hungry because it looks like she's flattening out. Looks like she will probably start going higher very soon.
She ate some lc about an hour ago. I just refresh it and leave it out for her all day. Thanks for responding. :):)

Hello, I read what we did on the 18th when she was at 69 PMPS but I still think I may need some guidance. She is due for her insulin in 44 minutes. Based on her afternoon numbers I don’t think she is going to go much higher. :cat: Test her then wait 20 minutes to see if she goes up on her own?

The procedure at PMPS would be to stall for 20 minutes without feeding and test again. But if you get a shootable number (50 or above), it usually isn't great to stall because you risk the cat going lower.

I cannot stay up with you so I can't tell you to shoot. If you decide to shoot, make sure you have lots of test strips, some higher carb foods and some syrup.

Since you have got a +9 and +11, you see if the PMPS is higher or flat. Then you can shoot. No need to stall. She has been eating LC all day?

ETA: You can take off the 911 :-)

That 911 is used for when a cat is too low or there are ketones and whatnot. When you're stalling, you should use the "?" tag and edit your title with "STALLING NEED HELP".

Please remove the 911.

Thanks Lyla. Sleep well.

Let me look at the spreadsheet. Be right back. Reducing won’t change what happens tonight though. A BCS is a possibility.

Yes, not for tonight but for the next few cycles. Think Dolly will earn the reduction tonight if she is not propped-up by HC/MC. Of course, she is a long term diabetic so the rule is 3 drops. But it feels like she is headed down the dosing ladder.

I agree. I just wanted Adrienne to know we still need to deal with tonight. Let’s see the PMPS bg.
