should she get her usual +2 hc/mc to prevent a big drop or leave her be grazing on lc? Thanks. Okay, I remember. Flat or lowerBounce clearing already.![]()
Two bites - 1 tsp 15% Gravy LoversI’d go with the usual if she wants it.

Still coming down @+5.5. Should I be feeding mc, it's a little late in her cycle.I wanted to thank everyone for getting us through a stressful but good day. I am always grateful and hope I don’t forget to express it. You all have a special place in my heart for supporting us and most important understanding how very important Dolly is to us. I could go on forever but fortunately for all of you, I won’t.![]()

Hi Katherine, do you think I should give Dolly any mc food or is she fine grazing on her lc? Thank you.Wow, Dolly's doing super well!![]()
When was the last time you fed her? I would feed a little LC if she's still hungry because it looks like she's flattening out. Looks like she will probably start going higher very soon.Hi Katherine, do you think I should give Dolly any mc food or is she fine grazing on her lc? Thank you.
She ate some lc about an hour ago. I just refresh it and leave it out for her all day. Thanks for responding. When was the last time you fed her? I would feed a little LC if she's still hungry because it looks like she's flattening out. Looks like she will probably start going higher very soon.
Test her then wait 20 minutes to see if she goes up on her own? Thanks Lyla. Sleep well. The procedure at PMPS would be to stall for 20 minutes without feeding and test again. But if you get a shootable number (50 or above), it usually isn't great to stall because you risk the cat going lower.
I cannot stay up with you so I can't tell you to shoot. If you decide to shoot, make sure you have lots of test strips, some higher carb foods and some syrup.
Yes. Last ate about 2+ hours ago. LcSince you have got a +9 and +11, you see if the PMPS is higher or flat. Then you can shoot. No need to stall. She has been eating LC all day?
ETA: You can take off the 911![]()
Okay. Thanks. That 911 is used for when a cat is too low or there are ketones and whatnot. When you're stalling, you should use the "?" tag and edit your title with "STALLING NEED HELP".
Please remove the 911.

Let me look at the spreadsheet. Be right back. Reducing won’t change what happens tonight though. A BCS is a possibility.

Sorry for forgetting the rules. I am going to feed her and give her insulin
Yes, not for tonight but for the next few cycles. Think Dolly will earn the reduction tonight if she is not propped-up by HC/MC. Of course, she is a long term diabetic so the rule is 3 drops. But it feels like she is headed down the dosing ladder.
I think she’s hungry but she is terrible about eating at shot time. Mc may workHow’s her appetite? Will she eat mc or hc?
I agree. I just wanted Adrienne to know we still need to deal with tonight. Let’s see the PMPS bg.

How much mc?I think she’s hungry but she is terrible about eating at shot time. Mc may work
Yup. 1U? Less?I’m thinking BCS and decide in the morning whether to reduce. I would not shoot tge full dose.
Just tell me what I should do? I'll use an alarm if it comes to that.Do you think you are up for a night of close monitoring? She is probably going to head lower if you shoot the full dose.
I like this ideaWhat about shooting .75 tonight. Then decide in the morning next steps.
Just tell what I should do? I'll use an alarm if it comes to that.

Ok. Get a +1. Don’t feed a lot now. Just a couple teaspoons. She may need mc at +1.Shoot 0.75U only. Feed LC to begin with if she will eat that. OK, Elise?

I already gave her couple tsp of 15%. I am getting confused.
Insulin, yes or no. .75 units. What does BCS mean?Ok. Get a +1. Don’t feed a lot now. Just a couple teaspoons. She may need mc at +1.

Got it - 8:15 our time. The 15% was fine. Shoot .75. Get a +1. See you in an hour. Ok?
