Thank you, all numbers are in now, I forgot to add my evening check to the Ss.
She’s doing all of the 5 p’s and ketone strips are negative

I see them now! It's great that you're getting a test in before bed. Good news on the 5 Ps and negative ketones. If your food is LC, it's not the food. It's likely that she just needs more insulin. You haven't found the "magical dose" just yet.

I don't know if you've had the chance to look at other cats' spreadsheets? I highly recommend it if you haven't. You'll see other cats who have high numbers. Just to give you a sense that the journey to low numbers isn't necessarily fast. What I've learned is that TR is aggressive and is the best chance at getting numbers down. Stick with the protocol and if you want to borrow any of my patience pants I will happily gift you a pair. I've amassed quite the collection:).

LOL! Thank you ! That made me laugh :)

Just to make it official...here ya go...your very first pair of patience pants. I believe these were the first pair that I ever received. Many others have had them since. Don't worry, though, we always wash them before gifting them to the next person:joyful:.

I'm curious as to her high numbers...
When we have switched her to fancy feast classics pate 2-3 cans a day. I really thought her numbers would be better with food! Prior to diagnosis I was feeding her FF gravy lovers.

this is really confusing

are you feeding two main meals, or spreading out some minis at the beginning of each cycle?
the other thing you might want to start tracking is the food amounts and times as they relate to the bg’s. a lot of us use the remarks column to record it.
if you are able, collecting a +1 or so can help you see the food bump. this data will be more useful as chicamonkey starts to get lower numbers.

Usually in the morning she’ll get 3/4 of a cab with the same amount of water and before I leave for work I give her the rest with water. John gives her one teaspoon at lunch. Then I give her a can at dinner .

I will admit ... today was a nice day numbers wise .
I wish I could have her hitting them every day,
I’ve been so down the past week.
Wondering what I could do better.

Hi Suzi, please take a look at my Ruby's spreadsheet. She was diagnosed more than 3 months ago and only less than a month ago did her liver stop freaking out and her little body started to respond to insulin. I wish I could take some credit for it, but really it was a question of time and patience. Lyla is totally right. Listen to every bit of dosing advice that's given to you by the wonderful people here, ask questions, read all of the stickies, study other cat's spreadsheets, and trust the methods. This journey is extremely emotional, but it does get easier, I promise! :bighug:
