Well, the lower numbers were nice while they lasted! Have no idea why he would have suddenly jumped, but I will test again in a few hours and see how he's doing. TBH i did get a reading of 26.3 (473) at first but I think that mixed with my finger sweat (ew), so I did it again. I'm really surprised by this. Can eating grass increase his BGLs? He eats a lot of it.

I did just go touch his belly and he yelped at me. I don't know if he just doesn't want me to touch him or if he's in pain. When he's annoyed at me, he likes to be dramatic when I touch him. I'll keep an eye on him as I'm home today and hopefully he will come back down.

I really hope he is not having any pain, especially in the belly area. Finger sweat mixed with cat blood....ewwwww:p. The 473 and 409 are one and the same when you take meter variance into account:bighug:.

Cats can bounce from yellows, if they aren't used to them.

Neko used to love grass, but only the stuff out on my lawn. A container of cat grass - no way! :cat:

He's not displaying any of his other behaviours of when he was in pain like hiding under the bed all the time. That was his go to spot when he was poorly.
Haha i know right, finger sweat and blood is quite the combo. Do you want some?
It was definitely a shock to see such a high number! He appears to be on a downward trend now, possibly. :cool:

We haven't had a decent yellow for a while so I'm not surprised if it is a bounce.

Oh yes, Mo will only eat the grass on the lawn. He and Neko would have enjoyed a grassy snack together I'm sure ;)
