I guess this is the new normal...This is morning and evening was first time she has tested amps and pmps under 200(the last time was around 11/14-11/17 because she was sick due to antibiotics and not eating). This morning it was 180, stalled w/o food and second came to 200. This evening she was 178. I didn't stall this time because this was the 5th evening her number was this low. I understand her BG is still elevated. I've been giving 0.25u BG under 200, and over 200 0.5u and over 250 1u. So far the highest I've been having to give 0.5u even though the vet stated that 1u shouldnt send her into hypos. o_O Not following that though. Hopefully this is a very good sign because that is how I am taking it. Fingers crossed!

Becca, If you get an 88@+3, or similar number, like you did this am cycle, always test again an hour later To see it hasn’t dropped lower.
1U or less can certainly send a cat into hypo territory...it just depends on the cat and how much insulin that individual cat needs.

6th day. This morning amps 195 and this evening pmps 164. Her appetite has increased but that's all I've noticed. Everything seems well. She seems to be trying to coast in blues. Giving 0.25u each time shes under 200 as to not make her drop real low. I will be getting a +2 and try to get a +4 tonight. I'm hoping I'm not missing anything!
