Hi,
I've been reading on this site for over a year now so I'm not really new to here, but this is my first time posting and likely the only post I'll make as I'm not really a social media kind of person. But I've been wondering this for quite a while and feel like it's time to finally ask, if any of you ever feel guilty or wonder if it's your fault your cat got diabetes? I personally agonize over it all the time, thinking maybe if I had fed my cat canned food all those years instead of dry...maybe if I wouldn't have let her get tubby...etc. I know I never would have purposefully done anything to cause the disease and that I did the best I knew at the time and vets never told me I was doing anything wrong or to change anything, but still... It's hard enough seeing your furbaby have a medical condition and go through stuff, but even worse when you think you might have caused it to begin with. I probably will never have the answers in this lifetime as to why my cat got diabetes, but just wondering if I'm the only one who wonders if I'm to blame.
Btw, I've learned so much on this site and you guys have helped me and my cat more than you'll ever know. Thank you.
