kit had a great "wee hours" time playing and looking for sleeping snuggles. we continued w the meds for last pm and this am cycle after yesterday's issue. but they really do make her sleepy and take the play right out of her. we're thinking to them cut back slowly rather than go the original "all or nothing" idea.

You have kit on Gabapentin, right? I think Elise had told me try cutting back on one dose first, before just stopping. Especially with gabapentin. @tiffmaxee

we've been doing 1/2 cap every 12 hours.
so this would mean now we go to 1/2 cap every 24 hours, or does this mean some other pattern?

ok, thanks. that makes sense.
especially when we look back to 12/07 pm when we didnt give and then tried not to give 12/08 am and she wasn't having it so we gave it to her am+2 that day.
so, we will give her the gaba tonight and then pull off tomorrow morning when we can monitor better.
not sure what to do about the prazosin. any suggestions?

we did both meds for pm
@Wendy&Neko mentioned she had a civvie w cystitis. maybe she has some input on how best to come off the prazosin.
but for now our plan is give neither in the am and see how kit does.

Civvie Theo took prazosin a couple times. But times just the number of days the vet suggested. Both times it wasn't a problem.
