I've fed him regular FF, put karo syrup on his gums, and now just fed him some High Carb FF so I'm hoping his numbers will rise back into normal range. He's never not responded to karo/extra food to raise his blood sugar. I have time until he's due for his next shot and hopefully his numbers will go up, but what about tonight's dose? Should I reduce at least by .5 units or go even lower? he's been on 2 units now for quite a while.

You will reduce by .25. If he’s too low you can skip tonight and still reduce. Remember to reduce by .25 every cycle he drops under 68. Ever thought about using a human meter?

I've been using the AT2 for so long and with the PetSure strips it's not as expensive as using AT2 strips. I've thought about switching to a Human meter, but would want to use up the 8 boxes of PetSure strips first. I'm grateful that I can afford the PetSure strips. When I first started testing him I was using a human meter and then switched to the AT2, based on the recommendation of my vet (who is really supportive in every way, even studying Wally's spreadsheet initially to see trends, etc)...

And what would you consider too low to dose him tonight? If he's still in the under 69 range?
