Yesterday, the usual. High and flat.

This morning is cycle six using the new insulin vial. I'm thinking I would have seen an improvement in her numbers by now if the old insulin had lost its efficacy. The new vial had never been opened but has been stored in my fridge for the past six months. Just wanted to throw that out there in case it raises alarm bells for anyone.

I don't think the issue is with the insulin.

Doesn't sound like the insulin - but I'm pretty new to this so not sure I have much insight. I hope Butters is feeling ok with the meds. Do you get a break this weekend and no work for a while? Hope the day is a good one Lyla :bighug:
 
I’m sure the insulin is fine BC I’ve been using vials that have been in my fridge (unopened) since April! Costco has the best deal for 5 vials for like $80 bucks or something. I’m sure Butters is just in a bouncy mood :rolleyes: maybe threaten an increase and Butters will go back to surf city :D
 
Morning Lyla, I just keep praying for Butters, and believe me I'm not a religious
person. With all the praying I've done for my daughter she would have been healed
by now. But I still continue. I hope you start seeing better numbers.
How is she feeling pain wise, is she still comfortable I hope.

I don't think she is entirely without pain. I'm not sure. I just feel like something is going on and I haven't figured it out yet. I don't know. But thank you for asking. Have a good day.:bighug:
 
I'm so glad you're getting some time off work! I hope Miss Butters takes a break too...from all those high numbers...come on to the beach Butters...the water is fine!

I'm so glad you have a week off, you deserve it, my heart just breaks for Butters.
I hope whatever is going on with her some one can figure it out.

Butters will be okay.:bighug:I'm doing my very best to help her and to be positive. So paws crossed she will be okay.

lol. I didn't get more than an hour or two of sleep here and there during those two weeks.
My big plan for the week is to snuggle Butters all day every day. And to take many naps.
I wonder what she thinks about that? :joyful: We will find out on Monday!
