Good Morning,

Blue is at 152 AMPS which is puzzling. He didn't get a shot last night, but okay. I guess
it's good he's still in good numbers. I gave him .25 this morning.

I got to sleep 7 and a half hours. I feel so much better already.

Blue was zonked last night when I went to bed and I was a little worried.....then I heard
his hunting meow and I got up to make sure he was okay. He caught a toy mouse and
was very proud of himself.
 
Patty have you been able to catch Blue in the litter box to see if there’s any action? I’d be watching to see if all is normal there since he had so much metronadozole.
 
Patty, what about decreasing the dose of the metronadozole? It has a big dosing range. I was told to stop it when Max had a normal one and to expect he might skip a day or two. The same with Mocha as a kitten when she was on it.

The metronadozole is the antibiotic and he's on the metoclopramide for constipation.

The antibiotic is x2 every 12 hours and the other is every 8 hours. I don't think he's gone enough to stop that if that the one you mean.
 
The metronadozole is for diarrhea and once the stool is normal it can cause constipation. If not on it he would probably not need the metoclopramide.
 
He's up to 104 +6 so that's good. I just got back.

Blue drools terribly when I give him that stuff. I do wish I could discontinue but she wanted me to give for the course of 7 days.

Our vets prefer to prescribe Stomorgyl 2 tablets (combo of metronidazole plus A. N. Other drug) because apparently they don't taste anything like as bad.

I will check him in about 10 minutes and maybe shoot at 8:45 which is 15 minutes early. I'm trying to get back to 8:30 to get back on the old schedule.
I'm feeling okay but would rather not stay up all night. I guess we don't know what he'll do at this point.
 
Okay, I think skip then. He got pretty low today and I'm thinking he might do the same tonight.
I'd just sit here worrying. I woke up a couple of times last night and got really upset. I hope
I can make it until Tuesday. It's really hard not knowing what we're dealing with. Of course, I'm
expecting the worst.
