12/02 PMPS 132. Prince +5 is 62

Good catch. A reduction was earned. How long will you be home? I would feed some mc food right now.

Yay! A reduction. I should be heading back to work but I can hang out here for awhile. The Nulo pate that I gave him is 4% I think. Other than that I have some 15% FF or Friskies. Should I hold off on more food and test in 29 minutes?

Yes. Give some 15%. The reduction has been earned so I would feed the 15%, test again in 30 and let’s see the number. When you go back to work leave food out. Test and post. I will be back.

Correction. The Nulo is 1%. I’ll give some 15% now.
 
I think he will likely not drop any more as its past +6 but it’s the first time he’s been low so I want to be sure. If he’s not dropping any more you can just leave out food but you might need to lock him up away from your other cat. Hugs to your boss.

He’s at 87 now and having more LC. My kids can feed him at 2:30. No other cats. Thanks SO much!
 
Test in another 20-15 to see if he’s on the way up. The depot from the higher dose will effect this cycle.

If you have Karo/honey/syrup, that's fine too....the simple sugars just wear off quickly where the HC food keeps their numbers up a little longer.

I have FF gravy lovers but that shows as15% on the chart so I’m thinking it’s MC?

It depends on how carb sensitive he is....the beef is 20% I think.

If we do end up using it, what I did was pop the top, put it back down and squeezed the gravy part into another bowl (you can actually get quite a bit....it's messy but it works). Then you give a couple of teaspoons of just the gravy (most of the carbs are in the gravy)

That way you can get the BG up but without feeding them a whole lot more food so IF the BG goes back down, he'll still be willing to eat again.
 
I think +4 or +5 is fine and if going lower than you want you can feed some 15%. Post if you need help or have questions. I’d get rid of the help now and the +5 is 62 and just leave the PMPS and+2 in the title.
 
I was able to get rid of “help”. How can I move over in the edit to get rid of the +5 is 62? I can’t figure out how to move over in the box. Maybe because I’m on my iPhone?
 
182 at +4. Do you think we’re good for the night? I wish I could edit out the title of the thread. I can’t get over to the end of the title; I can only edit the beginning of the title.
