Hi, Pepper had a PMPS of 170. His normal dose is 2U, when under 200 I've been only giving 0.25U, which doesn't do much. Tonight I gave 1U. Working on making sure he stays in safe ranges, but also want it to help. Also if anyone has any ideas of what may be going on with his numbers and stuff the last week?? On 11/21 I was on call at work, didn't get home until almost midnight and he was unable to eat for about 12 hours. I had left, planning on being back in a couple hours. So he missed his dose also. Then he threw up that night. Things have been out of whack since. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Here's your post in ProZinc if people want to reply there.

The last week had so many different doses, it's hard to really be able to guess what was going on. It's very possible that 2U may be a little too much.

Last night when you stalled (which was the right thing to do) he went from 95 to 145 in 30 minutes. That's a good sign that the last dose is wearing off so it would probably have been better to go ahead and shoot at +12.5, even if you did a 50% decrease like you did tonight.

Now that you're getting more tests in, it might be worth trying to go back to 1.75 but let's see what the ProZinc pro's have to say.

Ok, thank you for all your help! I guess I just wasn't sure if I had stressed him and that was why it was higher, and also don't understand why it was lower at the PMPS than the +5.5 basically. There just seems to be no rhyme or reason.

Oooh nice numbers last night!

Oooh nice numbers last night!
Question. I just tested him, he's 117 at +10. I have to get in the shower and will retest. I have to go to work, and won't be home for almost 12 hours. I had to warm his food and coax him to eat a couple of times last night. Unless his number really raises in the next hour, I'm scared to dose even 1U.

It's a good thing that you got the +10. Now we will know whether he is rising at AMPS and how swiftly, if he does.
Is he eating okay? Do you leave food out for him when you go to work?

I'm not familiar with Prozinc but let me see if there is anyone around who is.

He isn't eating as well as he used to. I have a feeder that does every 6 hours, which will feed at 11a. I feed him about 5:30 which will be almost at the +11 point today (I was a little late, then had to stall yesterday)

117 to 153 in an hour is a good rise.

+11 and AMPS were 153? That's what your SS says?
153 is more or less the same as 170, but today, you will not be around to monitor and feed.

When do you have to leave for work? Can you grab a +2 or +3 before heading out?

Crap! I did just on the shy side of 1U, about 5 minutes ago. No, I needed to be out the door 10 minutes ago... I was making sure he ate REALLY WELL! I added clam juice to the food and what's in the feeder. He ate probably 1/2-3/4 a 3 oz can of FF.

I have some m/d kibble...he loves kibble, but hasn't had it since a week after dx. I can feed him a tiny bit. Do you think he's safe to leave?

I just tested hi . He's at 197! I never sign out...I am signed in. It kicks me out, let Chris know, then I get access again, kicked off again, etc. I never do anything different. Had no access last night, suddenly did, now not again. Anyway, left another 1/2 can of food just in case. Thank you all soo much!!

I don't know what's going on with her access. She's the owner, she's signed in but some times she can edit it and sometimes it's "view only" for her. She can go for days without trouble and then all the sudden it won't let her edit.
Does she get the problem on all devices? Can she try creating a test spreadsheet to see whether it's a problem with the spreadsheet file or the application/Google account?

I set up the original spreadsheet for her because she didn't know how. Maybe later when she's home from work I can help her try to start one and then transfer the info from this one to a new one and see if that helps.

I think she's tried on her phone and PC...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Very frustrating for both of us! I don't mind plugging the numbers in for her when she can't get in, but it would be a lot better if it just worked right every time!

I agree, very frustrating!! Hate having to ask to have it added, and makes no sense. I do nothing different. One time it allows me in, the next time it won't, could be 5 minutes later either way. Just stupid! Ok, I just went in, was "view only" the AMPS was entered, but nothing else. I think I went like I was going to enter a +1 or something (not sure) all of a sudden the data Chris put in today showed up, and I could add my PMPS info I don't get it!!
PMPS was 440. I don't think it was fasting though, because there was a little bit of food still left in the dish. But I think it's safe to give the 1.5U dose.

When my SS isn't working I open it on my laptop and then it works in my sheets app again.
It happens every other day to me. Sometimes the app starts working if I go through the Google drive app instead of the sheets app.
It's a common issue and Google isn't much help really. :banghead:

Ok, thanks. Part of the problem is I don't have internet for laptop. Will just have to get hotspot on my phone.
