PMPS 179, token dose?

Bell was at 167, stalled 30 min and she was at 179, she had her dinner after the 179, I don’t want to give her full dose but would a dose of .25 be to much?! Not sure what to do and really hate skipping because her numbers are looking better

I can’t give dose advice on vetsulin. On Lantus for Minnie that’s a shootable number but I know Vetsulin works much faster and drops them harder @Critter Mom any thoughts?

Thanks for your reply, gonna skip tonight so her time doesn’t get changed, hopefully will get some advice for next time so I will be ready with a dose, hate skipping but better safe than sorry

Might be a good idea to get a +11 or +11.5 so IF it's lower than you're expecting, you have some time to ask for advice without getting too far off schedule.

I would have shot at least some insulin....not 1.75 but maybe 1U and then got a +1 and +2 but I understand that it still scares you to shoot those lower numbers.

Thanks! It does still scare me but next time I will be ready, probably should’ve went with my gut and did the .25, I will get this figured out lol, gonna check her in a bit to see what she’s at.

I would have probably soon at least 1 also. 179 isn't much below 200. It's OK that you Skipped though.

We won’t be home at the time it would change, I had thought about that, guilt is horrible, but I will get it eventful! Thank you
