11/19 Chloe AMPS 391 missed PM shot

@Roberta and Chloe can you get several tests during today’s current cycle? It would be great to test again ASAP as well as a couple of more times before the PMPS to see exactly what this dose is doing.
Sorry, I just read this post and it's almost time for her PMPS. I'll do a +11. She's at 104. The cats are already crying for their dinner. I have to wait an hour then test again for the PMPS.

I'm losing it. It's 10 pm and I can't remember if I gave Chloe her PM injection. I usually mark it on the SS right away, but it was blank. When I realized this and gave her a test a few minutes ago, she was at 274. I know I'm not supposed to shoot if I forget, but I gave her just .5 and will test again in an hour. I knew this would happen one day. I have to make an effort to remember what day it is. They all run together.
@JL and Chip

I will do a curve today.
Additional data is good, but a curve today is not likely to yield much useful information or reflect the true nature of the 1u dose. Why? Because you might (or might not) have forgotten to give last night’s 1u shot and then shot 0.5u several hours later and it sounds like you’re going back on regular schedule today, which means you're shooting early (didn’t wait a full 12 hours after last night’s 0.5u dose), which can have ramifications of its own. So things are just a bit off kilter.

Yep, I’d say a curve today would be “throwaway” and definitely not one upon which to make dosing decisions.

You might want to wait a couple of days for the dust to settle and then do a curve when it looks like you might be in a non-bounce cycle (such as when your pre-shot value is a blue, for example). In the meantime, I’d continue to get spot checks at various times of each cycle and test more often when you see lower numbers. It’s the low numbers (not the high or bounce numbers) that will help you hone in on an appropriate dose.
