maybe we need a spoon metric to add to the other end of the scale ;)
On the scale of pain face to spooning, she stayed closer to the spooning end overnight.

Increase?

I would like to see her numbers come down a bit. I had hoped that because she seems to be feeling better lately, that might help her numbers but it hasn't. I'm not sure if I should do a full .25 increase or a half increase of .125u. I know I have some wiggle room in her numbers, but I'm not sure how much. My goal right now is getting her to stay <300 and ideally below the renal threshold.

Have a good day, all.

Just do not give up

I am in the same boat as you, I just think that the healing process will take little long time even if they are pain free, Meme is very comfortable but her numbers still all over around so i start to believe that it is all about time:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

If you ignore the possible vet visit induced drop to greens, her nadirs are all mid blues. Plenty of room for that 0.25 unit increase. More juice is the way to banish that pink tutu.

Thanks Rawia. I won't:bighug:.
I think about you and Meme. It's nice to hear from you and and I'm relieved to know that she is comfortable, hopefully recovering well other than her numbers being all over the place. I agree with you. The numbers will come in time as they heal. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I wish everyone could have a chance to spoon with Butters. She is an expert-level spooner.
I have adjusted my calipers for a .25u increase tonight. Thanks for all of your suggestions on that. :bighug:
I know I'll have to figure out how to dial back the pain meds at some point, but she seems to be doing so well right now. And I'll wait until we are a few days removed from the increase.

I would love a spoon with Butters! She sounds so snuggly :cat:

Good idea with the increase. I agree with your plan to reduce the pain meds a couple days after the increase of insulin. It's good to make sure she is responding well to the increase first :)

Enjoy your weekend :bighug:
