So I’m at a little bit of a loss here as to why Peekas BG is still in the range that it’s in. I know Prozinc typically lasts longer, but I also feel like her BG should be lower than this. She did just eat recently, so I don’t know if that will play a part in her being a little bit higher, I’m confident I didn’t get a fur shot. I’m home all day so I can continue to test, but I’m curious as to why she would continue to be this elevated.

I know youre beyond the patience deal but just a LITTLE longer Peter, give that new dose a chance to settle.

I’ll test again in a few hours to see if it’s gone down at all. I don’t have too much data with the Prozinc either for reference but I’m just worried that I gave her the shot wrong, or whatever the case is. The wife had commented how miserable she looked yesterday so I’m just trying to do everything I can to help.

Understood. W e know you are a doting cat papa. I think it just needs time. By miserable does she mean physically or maybe just down in the dumps???

Just down in the dumps. Back to drinking a lot of water and looking sad while she does. She will also play with grass and bite me when I play with her though, so it’s a combo.

I’ll keep an eye on it, we had numbers in the 170s just a day or two ago, so I hope it’s not the case.

Appreciate the insight as always, thankfully it doesn’t sound complicated to overcome, I suppose it’s always possible I didn’t do the shot correctly.

No, I’m sure it’ll go back up, I’m just worried I might’ve missed the lower numbers from the cycle. Also weird seeing the numbers go lower this late in the cycle still, even though it’s not by much.

She’s slept with me most of the day. Normal though, less time at the water bowl and she took herself potty, so that’s a plus.

I have honestly noticed her at the water bowl more recently, but even with Boo, he looked miserable for a few months and then we were able to figure out his dosage and it feels like it was a pretty steady and quick improvement for him.
