11/6 Zhoom Boy - waiting on lab results

Thanks for all the help and support I received from all you lovelies on the forum with caring for Zhoom. He is eating a little bit better today, at least this morning. He is definitely still not his Zhoomie self and I am, of course, worried. The vet said that according to his Chem panel, his triglyceride levels were through the roof and his pancreas is not happy. The vet is still waiting for the CBC to come in and then she will call me. It is difficult to wait.

Did they do a pancreatitis test too? Glad to hear he's eating a bit. Did he come home with any medications?

Thanks Wendy. I don't think they did a pancreatitis test. She did have a small vial that she set to the side I noticed, so maybe? I will ask her when she calls tonight.

That's good. If pancreatitis, you might have to add pain medication. A Primer On Pancreatitis
