11/5 Walter AMPS 218 PMPS 340

I would shoot. skipping would make Walter lose all the momentum to get here, and from your spreadsheet, he's likely to bounce. You could always feed food before you leave to prevent a big drop. :)

I wouldn't change his dose at all...he's a bouncer - in fact a championship bouncer!

I hear you though on not being home, so it would be best for him to leave plenty of food out - even medium carb or some higher carb too...just in case.

He will likely greet you on the moon when you get home at 2 p.m. with one of his famous bounceroos. If he thinks he's going to surf or go lower today, the higher carb food will keep him away from the sharkies.

Do you feel that he responds well to higher carb foods? You've tested enough to see when you feed him high carb - what is his typical response?

Zelda can you get another test before you leave? I'd like to see how Walter's doing once more before you go...just to make sure he's not up to any funny biz. :)

He does not bounce each time he is in the greens at PS. I am wondering how Walter is doing! This is stressful when you cannot test your cat for 6 hours and he is low. Have a good day Zelda!

He usually soars after high carb but hard to tell sometimes. Just tested him again and he’s at 218. Ok-I’ll give him his usual dose and leave a lot of food out. It’s 2hrs past his usual time — I guess I need to make an adjustment tonight.

Ok—I’m back and Walter is at 313. Took everyones advice —gave him his usual dose ( though a little skinnier than usual) and left a lot of food out. He seems no worse for wear. Thank you!!!

I'm confused...was that test done earlier this morning and you're just now posting?

If so, sounds like he's already on the bounce cycle...

Hope things go well or have gone well at the dentist today...
I dosed him right before I left—he had increased to 218 between 5am-7:30am (I left the house shortly after 7:30). I left quite a bit of food around the apartment so he ate more than usual— but that’s ok because I was worried about him dipping again. I think he’ll settle down. Not sure why he was so low this morning (78).
Dentist went fine—was way overdue for a cleaning but I was concerned about going in because of Covid—but glad that I did. The dentist had tons of precautions in place so I think I’m safe.
