Happy Tuesday! Bernie bounced a little last night, so she enjoyed a nice pokie break, but she seems to be almost back to normal this morning. So happy with her progress! :cool::joyful:

I’ll be out from her +2.25 to +7, so DH is in charge. I had to stop myself from giving her a reduced dose - I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to leave her again for more than a few hours, it’s so nerve-wracking. I feel like such a helicopter parent :rolleyes: Thankfully, he’s home today and said he’d check her as often as needed. Hope this is a gentle break cycle for him... ;) You hear that Bernie? *gentle*

Thanks everyone! DH did great and so did Bernie! She’s currently sitting on the shore, teasing me with more greens. Three weeks ago, I would’ve killed for these numbers, so I’ll let her have her beach time. For now ;)
She’s out and about, following my stepkids around the house (as opposed to sleeping through those greens), so I think she feels good too!

What do I do with a 56 mg/dL at +10.5? She’s in her 2-hour window for PMPS, so I’m 99% sure I can’t feed. I know if this was her number at PMPS, I’d stall 20 min without feeding - is that what I do here? Don’t feed and test again? My gut is to watch her like a hawk and test again in 30 min. I’m fairly certain she’s been flirting with a reduction for the past few cycles, but I was playing with MC combos to test how she responded, and might’ve overfed MC on a few occasions?

For now, she’s acting fine - taking a much deserved nap after getting all riled up on catnip and picking a fight with a brush LOL ;)

I guess we’ll see where she is at +11?? Unless I should do otherwise?

For the sake of thoroughness, if I’d been home for the duration of her cycle today, I really think she would’ve gotten a reduction much earlier in the day. I mayyyy or may not have boosted her a little before leaving her in the loving care of DH...

Good plan to check again at +11, hopefully she stays above 50 and you don’t need to feed the numbers. I guess Bernie is making sure the helicopter gets a workout today. LOL on the fight with the brush!

Bernie it is much more convenient if you get close to those reduction numbers in the start or the middle of the cycle rather than at the end :rolleyes:

Despite repeating over and over, “59 is the same as 62,” “shoot low to stay low,” “TR shoots over 50 with enough data,” and “she comes up super easy with karo and HC,” I still want to throw up.

Bernie and me are in for an exciting night... :nailbiting::D

Thank you so much for checking in and all your help! The forum was down by the time I saw your message, but thank you so much for keeping an eye on Bernie and me! And yes, definitely wishing I had that ice cream around 1AM our time LOL :p
