Jazzy decided to start the day lounging on the beach  He was very annoyed with testing this morning, grumbly and growly. He kept jerking his head away from the strips, making me waste 3 of them. Guess I can't blame him for that part tho, since he jerked his head while I poked him, so I think I actually sliced his ear. Bled a bit more than usual. I told him to stop being so grumpy and things like that wouldn't happen. But I doubt he'll listen. Lol. He's Jazzy. Hopefully today brings a better mood and better numbers.
Have a great day, everyone :)

Awww...Jazzy you're too pretty to be so grumpy! Try to relax and breathe easy when you're testing him...sometimes I lean over Luci so she can feel my heart/breathing...she seems to like it? It takes a while...sooner or later they seem to know we're only trying to help them...and besides, there's food involved...

Have a great day Cheryl!

Nice start for Jazzy! Bernie was all amped this morning too! Sometimes, I have to almost “squat” her hah! I sit on my knees/feet, scoot her butt into my lap between my knees (while she’s still on the floor), and then like lay on top of her and hold her head with my hands. I don’t know if that made any sense at all or helps haha! It sounded better in my head before I tried to put it into text  Like child’s pose in yoga... just hunched over a cat LOLOL
Hope Jazzy comes down and is a little less grumpy for you! I don’t like mornings either, Jazzy. ;);)

Maybe Jazzy needs a do-over. Jazzy, go back to sleep and wake up on the right side of the bed this time.:cat: Mom's just trying to help you feel your best.
I've sliced Butters' ear a couple of times when she has pulled away mid-poke, and she has ended up with a sliced ear. They do heal quick, though.
Have a great day, Cheryl!

We have to wrap Jazzy in a towel and I sit cross legged on the floor and kinda tuck him between my legs to keep him from running away. He won't ever just sit there for me. Lol. He has to be trapped. Hopefully his mood improves. Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's not cooperative. Lol.

I'm usually pretty good with being calm so he doesn't sense that I'm stressed or whatever. Even still sing to him. I think he may have actually been uncomfortable, maybe a little constipated. He was having a hard time pooping beforehand. Hasn't had any pumpkin for a couple days. I have to pick some up today

Oh dang, I can’t imagine! Like a little purrrrito :cat:
