10/27 Spencer AMPS 189, +2 250, +3 284, +7 212, +10 208, PMPS 231, +2 184

I have not fed him yet and he is just sitting by his bowl looking at me sternly. I could feed and retest, but also don't wanna push injection time too far back.

Test now again. Did you get a 189 or 199 like I see on the ss? You could have shot the 199. If you wait too long he might drop more.

Last night I did two tests with the same drop of blood and one read 191, the other 211, so we concluded that is due to meter variance. I will wait for a bit longer before testing him in the hopes that if he is going down, it will show a more significant drop. If he is steady around 200 how should I proceed?

It’s close enough to shoot as long as you have hc or syrup, can monitor , have enough test strips and can be off schedule.

So he ate about half of his 3oz can of fancy feast and then went to nap on the couch, I just tested him at +2 and he is at 250. So the food brought him up a bit and the new injection probably hasn't kicked in yet, would that make sense? Just trying to develop a feeling for how it all works for him!

The insulin generally kicks in between +2 and +3. He’s bouncing from spending all that time in the blue range. It can take up to 6 cycles to clear.

Spencer was nice and steady today hovering just above 200, now we gave him 1U and are gonna keep testing. I will probably get up at night around +4 to get a test. Just to make sure he does not plummet.
