? 10/26/20 Apple AMPS 241 +3 341 +4 270, last night +3 43 - Help adjusting dosage

Hi! Sorry to hear about the ups and downs :bighug: Mind clarifying which dosing method you are using - I see in your SS it says SLGS but in your signature it says TR.

Also, did you shoot this morning? If so, mind filling the dosage? Or if no shot, put "NS". This will help others when looking at your data.

I'm still new here myself but I would recommend picking a dosing method and sticking to it. Post here regularly if you can so the more experienced members can help notice patterns and give dosing advice. I'd also recommend editing your title and picking the "?" from the drop down on the left - it will help people scanning the board to see you have a question.

Hope that helps some - at a minimum my comment will bump up your post :bighug:

We didn't skip the shot, just forgot to fill that in, haha. We're on SLGS right now, I'll change the signature. Thank you for replying :)

hi caren,
like susanne, i can't give you dosing advice. but, from the sticky if you're doing SLGS, apple would have earned a reduction with <90 back on 10/17/2020.
also, it looks like you're at around 1 year since DX. i'm not sure if that changes things on SLGS.
i'm going to tag @carfurby bc i think she'll be knowledgable on these points.

Thanks for the reply...I always thought it was anything under 50 for a reduction? But nevertheless, we've had reduction numbers on 2.'s and taken him down to 1.75 and held for awhile, but we never achieve any greens to speak of..and the numbers climb. It's frustrating and I'm sure an admin has an answer to this..least I hope. Thanks again for the reply.

under 50 for a reduction?
this is for TR for first year of DX

We're on SLGS right now,
you're on SLGS, yes?

here's the sticky link so you can confirm which protocol you'd like to be on and how they each work

also, here's a link to your previous post for continuity

Here is the post clarifying reductions: Reminder: *earning* reductions and starting OTJ trials

For a while Apple was on TR and would have earned reductions by going under 40 (or 3 times under 50 since I think he qualifies as a kitty who doesn't hold reductions well. But now that you are on SLGS, there is no time limit, he earns a reduction by going under 90.

We just changed to that protocol yesterday because it reflected how we've actually been handling his numbers. But regardless of the protocol, what we're really trying to find out - is it normal for him to have such low lows, and then continue on with higher numbers whether we leave it at 2 or drop it to 1.75?

Sometimes bouncing can create crazy high and low numbers. It is part of the process. Apple earned a reduction with that 43 yesterday.
